Regional Growth and Infrastructure Leader

This is a unique opportunity to lead the delivery of landmark projects that will define the future of our region.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a newly established division created to capture, develop, and deliver the region-building initiatives essential to sustainable growth.

A key aspect of this role is driving delivery of complex, multi-million-dollar projects, including water security, sewer treatment, transport, and other critical regional infrastructure.

As a visionary leader, you will provide executive-level leadership, governance, and oversight to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standards.

Additionally, you will build and nurture a high-performing team of professionals, contractors, and consultants in a collaborative, agile environment.

Representing Council as a key leader in shaping the New England Renewable Energy Zone and broader growth agenda will also be an important part of this role.

Key requirements include:

  • Delivering complex, high-value infrastructure projects with demonstrated success;
  • Strong technical expertise in engineering and project management, underpinned by formal qualifications;
  • Proven ability to navigate government, regulatory, and stakeholder environments with confidence;
