We're seeking a Field Service Technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot fiber optic systems and networks. As a key point of contact for our customers, you'll ensure a seamless installation process and provide ultra-high-speed internet services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing cable testing and documentation for all media types
  • Installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting fiber optic systems and networks
  • Handling optical fiber-related tasks, including cable pulling, suspension, fiber termination, fusion splicing, and testing, following local regulations
  • Collaborating with team members to deliver high-quality service to business and residential customers

Requirements:

  • Strong teamwork and customer service skills
  • Basic computer and home networking knowledge; experience with electronic audio/video systems is a plus
  • Proficiency in using tools such as drills, cable cutters, and hammer drills
  • Ability to follow safety guidelines, including wearing required PPE
  • Capability to work in various weather and environmental conditions
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to complete tasks neatly and efficiently
  • Ability to interpret prints and follow co-ordinated routing
