Job Summary

The Empire Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Wills and Estates Legal Assistant to join their team. As a key member of the team, you will provide administrative support to a Senior Associate and Probate Clerk, ensuring the smooth operation of the department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Document Preparation: Prepare and edit documents, including wills, probate applications, and other legal documents, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the Senior Associate and Probate Clerk, including diary management, appointment organization, and monthly billings.
  • Client Communication: Communicate with clients in a professional and courteous manner, responding to their queries and concerns in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Research and Data Entry: Conduct research and enter data into the company's database, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the team to achieve departmental goals and objectives, providing support and assistance as needed.

Requirements

  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Wills and Estates Legal Assistant or Legal Secretary.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Education: A relevant qualification in law or a related field.
