Job Title: School Facilities Manager

We are seeking an experienced school facilities manager to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of our school infrastructure, including repairs, cleaning, and minor construction tasks.

This is a hands-on role that requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of school facilities, including classrooms, hallways, and outdoor areas.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as replacing light bulbs, unclogging drains, and patching walls.
  • Repair and replace furniture, fixtures, and equipment as needed.
  • Manage delivery and distribution of mail, parcels, and messages across the school.
  • Operate and maintain security systems, including managing alarms and locking/unlocking facilities during core hours.
  • Assist with groundskeeping tasks, such as clearing drains, collecting waste, and hosing gutters.
  • Evaluate and recommend improvements to school facilities and services.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in building maintenance and repair.
  • Familiarity with safety protocols and procedures.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
