Aseptic Filling Operations Specialist

The purpose of this role is to coordinate the daily operations of an aseptic filling team within a pharmaceutical production environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the team leader in ensuring the successful execution of routine operations;
  • Leading accountability meetings for the area to drive continuous improvement;
  • Liaising with external support teams and escalating process issues as necessary;
  • Providing scientific and technical input into interpreting in-process data variability;
  • Developing and implementing initiatives to reduce manufacturing defects and improve cost efficiency;

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

  • Tertiary qualification in science or engineering; or relevant experience;
  • At least 5 years' experience in cGMP manufacturing within a pharmaceutical production environment;
  • Technical skills in manufacturing and quality processes and systems;
  • Experience leading a manufacturing team;
  • Demonstrated understanding of cGMP, regulatory requirements, and environmental, health, and safety requirements;
  • Ability to provide technical data during internal and external audits;
