Mechanical Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join our maintenance team at GFG-Alliance Manufacturing. You will be responsible for managing breakdown and preventative maintenance, working closely with the production team to improve site efficiency.

Duties include:

  • Execution of preventative and breakdown maintenance
  • Troubleshooting issues and identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Providing timely feedback via the maintenance management system
  • Collaborating with the production team and other trades in the workshop
  • Completion of all tasks safely and to a high quality

We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic candidate who can demonstrate the following:

  • Relevant mechanical trade qualification
  • Exceptional fault finding and troubleshooting skills
  • Proactive approach, with a focus on safety, customers, and teamwork
  • Confident communicator who can work unsupervised
  • Experience in Hydraulics and Pneumatics is advantageous
  • A background in Heavy industry or Steel manufacturing environments is ideal
