As a Therapeutic Youth Worker with CatholicCare, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients and make a real difference in their lives. Our homes for children living in Out of Home Care settings provide a supportive and therapeutic environment where young people can heal and grow.

The Therapeutic Youth Worker role is a permanent part-time position, and we have multiple properties in the Sydney Metro areas. You will work closely with a team of experienced professionals who are passionate about supporting vulnerable children and young people.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Certificate III, Certificate IV or Diploma in Community Services or Youth Work (or be willing to enroll and complete a relevant qualification)
  • Prior experience working in a Youth Worker position is highly regarded
  • Demonstrated ability to work therapeutically with young people with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties and those who have experienced significant trauma and adversity
