About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic program delivering financial capability and resilience services. As a key member of the team, you will:

  • Manage the program in accordance with good social business and governance practices.
  • Organize and oversee ongoing evaluation under the direction of Moneycare management.
  • Assist in further developing the You're the Boss financial literacy program and integrating digital technology.
  • Facilitate and organize training courses on how to deliver the You're the Boss program based on behavioral insights and best practice coaching.
  • Oversee the delivery of the You're the Boss financial literacy program across Australia by trained Coaches.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring effective implementation of the program, while also participating in team activities and demonstrating a supportive approach to other staff members contributing to overall team effectiveness.

The following are key responsibilities: Occupational Health and Safety Obligations, Maintaining Personal Knowledge, and Commitment to Core Values.

We require:

  • Degree qualifications or extensive experience in education, finance, community services, psychology, or related fields.
  • Experience in project management.
  • Knowledge of behavioral insights and impact on providing financial literacy/capability education.
  • Understanding of and commitment to the mission and values of The Salvation Army.
  • A Diploma of Community Services (Financial Counselling) or willingness to undertake some financial literacy education units.
  • A Working with Children check.
  • Ability to travel intra/interstate.

This is a permanent Part Time position based in Redfern. Salary is in accordance with SCHADS Level 5.
