Salary

We offer an attractive salary package for this role, with an estimated annual salary of $80,000 - $110,000 AUD depending on experience. This remuneration reflects the importance of this position within our organization.

Job Description

This Sample Preparation Specialist role plays a crucial part in supporting our mining and exploration clients across Western Australia. As a key member of our Geochemistry team, you will be responsible for operating machinery to crush, split, and pulverize mineral samples for laboratory analysis. Your duties will include:

  • Handling rock, core, and drill chips
  • Operating sample preparation equipment – crushers, pulverizes, splitters, and weigh scales
  • Performing routine manual tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods
  • Numerical sorting and labeling of samples
  • Wearing mandatory personal protective equipment (PPE), including a respirator
  • Working as part of a team to achieve daily production targets
