Job Overview

This Stores Operator role is an exciting opportunity to join the Sample Preparation team at our Bureau Veritas Minerals Laboratory in Canning Vale WA. As a key member of the warehouse team, you will be responsible for receiving, handling, and dispatching goods and products coming into or going out of stockrooms, stores, or warehouses.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Inventory Management: Conduct regular inventory tasks, including sorting, collecting, and preparing warehouse orders for delivery or pickup according to a schedule.
  2. Goods Movement: Perform the movement of goods inwards and outwards, adhering to Bureau Veritas QHSE standards.
  3. Production Targets: Contribute to achieving daily production targets by efficiently managing warehouse operations.
  4. Order Fulfillment: Receive and check against orders, picking goods, and packing them accurately.
  5. Sample Retrieval: Retrieve samples from throughout the warehouse, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
Requirements
  • Forklift ticket required.
  • Physically fit to carry out manual tasks and lift up to 15 kilo sample bags.
  • Reliable and motivated individual with attention to detail.
  • Experience within warehousing is desirable but not necessary.
Work Schedule

The successful candidate will work on a morning shift roster, Monday to Friday, from 6.00am to 2.00pm. Occasional afternoon shifts may be required to meet operational needs.

Benefits

Bureau Veritas offers a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per annum, commensurate with experience. You will also have opportunities for career growth and development within the company.
