Job Description

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead the management of our extensive property portfolio. With over 150 properties spanning six major campuses, satellite sites, leaseholds, and government holdings, this role is critical in ensuring our property assets continue to meet the organisation's evolving needs.

You will be responsible for overseeing all lease, licence, and retail services agreements, while identifying opportunities to maximise the value of our property holdings, including divestment, consolidation, and income-producing potential.

The role also provides high-level strategic advice on property-related commercial arrangements, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, including the Government Land Holding Policy, Crown Land Act, and Retail Services Act.

In addition, you will lead space management and site planning activities across our organisation, supporting optimal space utilisation and contributing to funding submissions and business cases that enable future growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive and deliver the property strategy
  • Oversee the management of all leases, licences, and retail services agreements
  • Maximise the value of the property portfolio, including identifying divestment and consolidation opportunities
  • Ensure compliance with government policies and legislative requirements
  • Lead space management, allocations, and site planning across major campuses
  • Provide strategic advice on commercial arrangements and risk management
  • Engage with external partners for lease and space management
  • Support the development of funding submissions and business cases
