Job Opportunity
We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team in providing critical support services to adults who have experienced sexual assault and/or family violence. This role involves delivering high-quality trauma-focused counselling and therapeutic interventions, utilizing frameworks of intersectionality, gender equality, anti-oppression, and human rights.
About the Role:
- Counselling and Therapeutic Interventions: Provide expert trauma-focused counselling and therapeutic interventions to adults affected by sexual assault and/or family violence.
- Assessment and Case Management: Conduct evidence-based assessments, case formulation, goal setting, advocacy, group work, and crisis response.
- Collaborative Working: Work collaboratively with clients and key agencies to advocate for, assess, and respond to identified risk.
Requirements:
- Clinical Experience: Demonstrated clinical experience working with complex trauma related to sexual assault and/or family violence.
- Crisis Intervention Skills: Crisis intervention skills necessary for supporting people who have experienced sexual assault and/or family violence.
- Collaborative Working: Collaborative working with other professionals and agencies to enhance wellbeing and safety for clients.
