Job Description

The Torrens to Darlington project is a significant infrastructure development that involves the construction of a 10.5 km motorway, twin three-lane tunnels, and various road and bridge structures.

The project's scope encompasses complex mechanical and electrical installations, with a target completion date in 2031.

As a Contracts Administrator, you will play a crucial role in assessing and processing payment claims, variations, and extension of time requests in accordance with established processes and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Payment Claim Assessment: Review and process payment claims from subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring compliance with contractual agreements.
  2. Variation Management: Manage and process variation requests, including negotiations with subcontractors and suppliers.
  3. Extension of Time Requests: Assess and process extension of time requests, considering factors such as delays, disruptions, and unforeseen site conditions.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience in contract administration, procurement, or commercial project support.
  • Strong understanding of contract terms, cost control, and project reporting.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • High attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
