Production Operations Leader

Job Title
This is an exceptional opportunity for a leader in nickel and cobalt production to join our high-performing team. As a Production Manager, you will lead a proactive, hardworking, and committed team responsible for Nickel and Cobalt production.
- Lead by example to drive safety, inclusion, high performance, and continuous improvement;
- Ensure the plant operates in a safety and environmentally responsible manner and production targets are achieved;
- Develop and improve operating philosophies and systems;
- Monitor and improve business processes and achieve operational excellence;
- Develop an inclusive workplace where everyone's differences are celebrated;
- Drive the achievement of continuous improvement targets.
About You: This role suits a technically competent people leader looking for a new challenge in a multifaceted processing plant. Required skills and experience include:
- Tertiary qualification in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or Metallurgy (preferred);
- Previous experience leading a team with Quality, Safety, Environmental, and Budgeting responsibilities;
- Strong desire to be part of a high-performing team;
- Proven change management track record;
- Strong drive in continuous improvement with analytical and problem-solving skills;
- High-level understanding of Regulations including Permit to Work, High Risk Work, and maintenance management systems;
- Demonstrated ability to investigate workplace accidents and incidents; and
- Current manual driver's licence.
