
Critical Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Critical Facilities Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of critical facilities infrastructure.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of mission-critical environments and electrical/mechanical systems. They will also have excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work well under pressure.
You will be part of a close-knit team delivering best-in-class service to our data center customers. We are committed to providing an equitable work environment that is foundational to our core values as a company and is vital to our success.
In this role, you will perform routine preventative and corrective maintenance on-site to critical facility components and/or systems. You will also shadow senior engineers and develop your expertise in regard to more complex repairs, maintenance, installations, and on-site inspections to critical facility systems.
Additionally, you will monitor the Building Monitoring System (BMS) and resolve alarms for specialized issues requiring considerable judgment and implications to resolve. You will also operate and maintain plumbing, fire suppression, and life-safety systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications- A strong understanding of mission-critical environments and electrical/mechanical systems.
- Trade or degree qualifications relevant to engineering.
- Electrical/Mechanical background with a view to picking up more complex work over time.
- Vendor management and coordination.
- Team player and collaborative mindset and ability working well with different people at various levels of skills and experience.
- Training and development onsite and through our Global Ops Academy.
- Ability to grow in the role and follow structured career pathways.
