We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Critical Facilities Engineer. In this position, you will play a critical part in maintaining and evolving mission-critical infrastructure for our data centers.

This is an opportunity to join a fast-paced team that drives operational excellence across Australia's hyperscale landscape.

You will be responsible for managing and overseeing specialist vendors for all major works, planned repairs, and maintenance to all data center systems.

The successful candidate will have hands-on experience with critical facility operations, a degree or trade qualifications in engineering-related field, and understanding and experience in building services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage vendor relationships and set up maintenance contracts
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure smooth operation
  • Plan and complete maintenance protocols, including monthly, quarterly, and annual site maintenance
  • Take ownership of portfolio work, including all engineering within Liquid to Chip data halls
  • Respond to BMS alarms and oversee plumbing and fire suppression systems vendor activities

Requirements:

  • Strong customer mindset and excellent problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
