Program Overview

We are seeking an individual to lead our young women empowerment program, which aims to empower young females through various activities and initiatives.

The program will be delivered under a broader suite of youth development programs and will involve coordinating with schools and reporting on progress.

You will be responsible for organizing end-of-program celebrations and activities, coordinating program aspects, reviewing and updating the program throughout the year, and supporting other team members within the organization.

To succeed in this role, you will require the following skills and qualifications:

  • A minimum 1-2 years' experience in a similar role or placement
  • A tertiary qualification in social work, youth mentoring, or a relevant field
  • A current driver's licence
  • A valid NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC)
  • Sports First Aid certification
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Proven communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • An ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • A commitment to confidentiality and safeguarding protocols
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Desirable skills include experience working in Rugby League, sports clubs, or community sports environments, program evaluation and event coordination experience, familiarity with culturally inclusive practices and community engagement strategies, and additional qualifications in youth services or social work.
