This is a dynamic and rewarding opportunity to deliver high-quality therapeutic support services to clients in Western Sydney and Southern Highlands.
- Deliver professional counselling aligned with preferred models, focusing on the wellbeing and safety of clients.
- Develop and maintain clear, achievable case plans in collaboration with clients, prioritising their needs and goals.
- Promote the service through local partnerships, forums, and resource development, enhancing community engagement and outreach.
- Maintain accurate records that meet organisational, legislative, and funding requirements, ensuring compliance and transparency.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute to service improvement initiatives, driving excellence and growth.
- Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, Counselling or similar, with a strong focus on client-centred practice.
- A valid NSW Driver's Licence, enabling travel across Western Sydney and Southern Highlands.
- Graduate membership with PACFA, AASW, APS or equivalent, demonstrating a commitment to professional standards and ethics.
- A minimum of 160 hours of client contact in counselling, showcasing expertise and experience.
- Experience in family, couple, or child/adolescent counselling, with a demonstrated ability to adapt to diverse client needs.
- Strong communication and assessment skills, with a focus on empathy, active listening, and cultural sensitivity.
