Job Overview

As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the Training and Learning & Development space at our site. Working closely with the Site Learning Manager, you will be responsible for creating and implementing standardized training programs that meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes through effective training and development initiatives.
  • Develop and implement data-driven strategies to improve learning outcomes and operational efficiency.
  • Lead a team of Training Coordinators, providing coaching and guidance to support their growth and development.
  • Oversee the Forklift Verification Programme, ensuring compliance and accuracy in documentation.
  • Analyze data to identify opportunities for improvement and drive continuous learning activities.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (Business, Human Resources, etc.).
  • Proven experience in coaching, development, and training employees.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and drive informed decision-making.
  • Effective time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience developing and implementing departmental goals and strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Leadership experience, managing a team of 1-12 hourly members.
  • A track record of steady progression and adaptability in fast-paced environments.
  • A desire to thrive in a dynamic, growing organization.
  • Previous experience in Kaizen/Continuous Improvement initiatives.
  • Cert IV in Training and Assessment is an asset.
  • Familiarity with training within a site with significant forklift activity.
