Job Title: Training Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Training Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in enhancing the capabilities of our team members, including SRG and Labour Hire staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver engaging orientation and induction programs for new employees.
  • Support DC labour capability through comprehensive training and assessments.
  • Coach and mentor Team Managers to ensure consistency in elevating standards and capabilities.
  • Proactively manage skill gaps and training needs in collaboration with DC Leadership and the Learning Manager.
  • Coordinate training schedule and attendance.
Requirements:
  • Experience working within a DC/Warehouse in a high volume, multi-brand, Retail or 3PL distribution/logistics environment, or Retail stores.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor individuals from diverse backgrounds, fostering an inclusive and supportive environment.
  • Proven ability to effectively train and develop internal and Labour Hire staff, ensuring they meet performance standards and excel in their roles.
  • Understanding of CoR – (Chain of Responsibility) – Current Legislation.
  • Demonstrated understanding of hazard identification/incident management and investigation.
