The Role

As a Duty Manager at The Westport Club, you will be at the core of everything we do. This role involves delivering operational leadership to all facets of our club, including coaching, mentoring, and guiding our team of 100. You will be responsible for cash management, coordination of schedules, and collaboration with other leaders in relation to recruitment, event management, and seasonal planning.

Your Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of 100 staff members
  • Deliver operational leadership to all facets of the club
  • Coach, mentor, and guide team members to achieve their full potential
  • Manage cash and financial transactions
  • Coordinate schedules and rotas
  • Collaborate with other leaders on recruitment, event management, and seasonal planning

About You

We are looking for a people person with a knack for building relationships, investing in their team, and making people feel welcome. You should have:

  • At least 12 months experience managing a team in the hospitality industry or operational leadership
  • Confidence to work independently and think on your feet to resolve issues and manage tricky situations
  • Exceptional experience in communicating with customers and team members, with the ability to have difficult conversations
  • General knowledge and experience of club operations and guiding legislation
  • Flexibility and availability across the operating hours of the club
  • Current RSA and RCG certificates
