Northern Beaches Hospital is a contemporary 488 bed facility, comprising of 60% public and 40% private beds. We provide a wide range of health services to the local community.

Our hospital features 13 operating theatres, one hybrid/cardiac catheter theatre, two Catheter Laboratories and four endoscopy procedure rooms, all supported by a critical care unit which includes two intensive care wards.

About the Role

The Day of Surgery Admissions (DOSA) team provides care to patients being admitted for a theatre procedure. As an Enrolled Nurse in this role, you will work across all areas of Day Surgery, including pre-operative and post-operative areas.

This challenging and rewarding position requires strong patient-service focus, commitment to continued service improvement, and problem-solving skills to improve patient care outcomes.

To be successful:

  • Enrolled Nurse with AHPRA
  • Diploma of Nursing or equivalent
  • Proven clinical experience in day of surgery
  • Sound clinical decision making and problem solving skills
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills
  • Clinical expertise and commitment to high quality patient care
  • Self-motivated and proven ability to work as part of a high functioning team
  • Possession of passion for delivering quality patient-centred care

Salary and Benefits
