Transforming Distribution Centre Excellence

We are seeking an innovative and enthusiastic Training Specialist to join our team at a leading distribution centre. As a key member of operations, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing team members' capabilities, driving excellence, and uplifting standards.

  • Innovative Training: Develop engaging orientation and induction programs that inspire and motivate team members.
  • Capability Building: Support labour capability through comprehensive training and assessments, ensuring team members meet performance standards and excel in their roles.
  • Coaching: Uplift individual and collective performance against business performance requirements, fostering an inclusive and supportive environment.
  • Skill Development: Proactively manage skill gaps and training needs in collaboration with DC Leadership and the Learning Manager.
  • Training Coordination: Coordinate training schedules and attendance to ensure seamless delivery of our training programs.

About You

We are looking for an energetic and vibrant individual who can bring enthusiasm and a positive attitude to inspire and motivate the team. You will have the ability to confidently guide and realign team members to ensure adherence to standards.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Experience working within a high-volume, multi-brand, retail or 3PL distribution/logistics environment or retail stores.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor individuals from diverse backgrounds, fostering an inclusive and supportive environment.
  • Proven ability to effectively train and develop internal and labour hire staff, ensuring they meet performance standards and excel in their roles.
  • Understanding of current legislation.
  • Demonstrated understanding of hazard identification and incident management.
