We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to fill the position of Training Specialist in our Distribution Centre. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively with team members, and possess a strong understanding of training methodologies.
Job SummaryThis is an exciting opportunity for an experienced training professional to join our team and contribute to the development of our distribution centre operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in enhancing the capabilities of our team members through coaching, mentoring, and training.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver engaging training programs that meet the needs of our team members.
- Coach and mentor Team Managers to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
- Collaborate with the DC Leadership and Learning Manager to identify skill gaps and develop strategies to address them.
- Coordinate training schedules and attendance to ensure maximum participation.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Experience working within a high-volume, multi-brand retail or 3PL distribution/logistics environment.
- Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Proven ability to train and develop internal and labour hire staff to meet performance standards.
- Understanding of Chain of Responsibility (CoR) legislation.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
