About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join our team as a Distribution Centre Training Specialist. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in elevating the capabilities of our team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Innovative Training: Deliver engaging orientation and induction programs that foster a culture of innovation and excellence.
  • Capability Building: Support the development of DC labour capability through comprehensive training and assessments.
  • Coaching: Uplift individual and collective performance against business performance requirements by guiding and mentoring Team Managers.
  • Skill Development: Proactively identify and address skill gaps and training needs in collaboration with the DC Leadership and the Learning Manager.
  • Training Coordination: Coordinate training schedules and attendance to ensure seamless execution.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years' experience working within a DC/ Warehouse in a high volume, multi-brand, Retail or 3PL distribution/ logistics environment, or Retail stores.
  • Credentials: Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor individuals from diverse backgrounds, fostering an inclusive and supportive environment.
  • Skills: Proven ability to effectively train and develop internal and labour hire staff, ensuring they meet performance standards and excel in their roles.
  • Knowledge: Understanding of CoR – (Chain of Responsibility) – Current Legislation.
  • Award: Demonstrated understanding of hazard identification/ incident management and investigation.
