Job Opportunity: Motor Underwriter
We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to take on the role of Motor Underwriter, where they will be responsible for underwriting motor policies, determining effective pricing and policy negotiation, managing renewals, endorsements, and new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:- Underwrite motor policies and determine effective pricing/policy negotiation
- Manage Renewals, Endorsements, and New Business opportunities
- Maintain and exceed service level standards
- Follow best practices and uphold ethical and regulatory standards
- Minimum 2 years' experience in Insurance with a focus on Underwriting/Broking/Motor Claims
- Industry qualifications or comparable industry experience
- Strong customer service skills and experience in intermediated distribution channels desirable
- Effective communication, relationship management and interpersonal skills
We are looking for an individual who is highly organized, efficient and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. They should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
