The Role: Safety Coordinator

As a key member of our safety team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping safety practices on significant roadworks projects. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Implementing, monitoring, and enhancing safety protocols across roadworks projects.
  • Conducting regular site inspections to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Developing and maintaining safety policies and procedures tailored to roadworks and infrastructure projects.
  • Collaborating with site managers and project teams to proactively address any safety concerns.

Requirements:

  • A proven track record in a safety role within the civil construction industry, preferably with a focus on roadworks.
  • Strong knowledge of safety regulations, standards, and best practices related to roadworks.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to train and influence site teams on safety matters.
  • Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety or an equivalent qualification.
