About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Indigenous Cultural Liaison Manager to support our First Nations program and promote diversity and inclusion strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Awareness of national, regional, and local employment initiatives to enable continued growth and development.
  • Extension and management of Indigenous School Based Traineeship, Internship, Graduate, and Cadetship programs to foster inclusive and culturally responsive workplaces.
  • Identification and communication of barriers to employment with Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people and organisations to enhance relationships and opportunities.
  • Collaboration across business units to understand and leverage the benefits of supplier diversity.
  • Responsible for regular reporting at business, divisional, and company level to measure progress and drive improvement.

Requirements

  • Proven professional and lived experience in Indigenous history, heritage, and culture to inform strategic decisions.
  • Strong understanding of Indigenous employment and associated programs to develop effective solutions.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders and possess strong project management skills to deliver results.
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills to build trust and rapport with diverse groups.
  • Experience in reporting and presentation skills for external recruitment activities and internal training to share knowledge and best practices.
  • Results-oriented approach with leadership and people-related experience to drive cultural transformation.
