Senior Strategic Planner Role

This role involves leading the development of comprehensive strategic plans, conducting market research and translating insights into actionable strategies.

Responsibilities:
  • Developing and implementing long-term strategic planning policies and projects.
  • Providing expert planning advice to internal teams and stakeholders.
  • Preparing professional reports and policy papers to support decision-making.
  • Managing complex projects and delivering high-quality community-focused outcomes.
  • Mentoring junior planners and fostering a culture of growth and learning.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in planning or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in developing and implementing strategic planning policies.
  • Ability to lead projects and mentor emerging planners.
  • Advanced knowledge of relevant planning legislation and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
