Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Planning Specialist to join our team within the Southern Suburbs. The successful candidate will contribute to the success and sustainability of both the environment and the community by providing expert advice, overseeing operations, and delivering key environmental projects.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in land use planning, environmental management, strategic planning, and/or environmental planning within local, state, or federal contexts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert environmental advice on protection, rehabilitation, enhancement and management of the City's natural and built environment particularly as part of the strategic and statutory planning process.
  • Manage environmental projects including the preparation of environmental management plans, strategies and policies.
