The RoleAs an Assistant Store Manager you will work closely with your Store Manager to drive sales in a high-performing store. You will play a key role in the overall success of Skechers within Accent Group.
You will collaborate with your Area Manager/Mentor to identify business needs consumer trends and team development opportunities. This will enable you to support the growth of a global brand and create future leaders.
A Typical Week- Represent yourself through your own uniform and fashion-style on Monday-Friday and your favorite Activewear on weekends.
- Create new friendships with a likeminded team who love fashion fitness and building genuine relationships with customers.
- Be mentored and upskilled by down-to-earth and fun Area Managers who are passionate about your development and growth.
- Exposure to a diverse customer profile including frontline workers fitness-enthusiasts and those wanting to wear Activewear to brunch.
- Ensure efficient operation of your store to achieve optimal results in sales targets KPIs store presentation visual merchandising stock levels wage control and shrinkage.
- Motivate your team to achieve optimal results in KPIs and added value targets across stores.
- Closely monitor store sales to achieve daily weekly monthly and yearly targets acknowledging outstanding results and identifying areas of missed opportunity.
- Effectively manage wage costs in store adhering to weekly wage targets and company rostering standards.
- Coach and mentor your team to maintain high team morale and encourage individual development by ensuring training and succession plans are in place.
- Ensure efficient OH&S management and adhere to state and national OH&S legislation.

RequirementsTo be successful in this role you will have:
- Demonstrated experience as a full-time / senior casual sales assistant key holder supervisor or 3IC.
- A motivated and driven attitude.
- A passion for leading and inspiring a team to succeed.
- A proven track record in driving sales and meeting KPIs and targets.
- Operational excellence and experience with stock control and visual merchandising.
