Global Mobility Manager Job Description

The Global Mobility Manager will oversee ASC's global mobility program, aligning it with the company's business strategy and collaborating with stakeholders. The role involves ensuring the overall success of the global mobility program, building a cohesive global mobility infrastructure that supports the strategy, design, development, administration, compliance, and communication of ASC's global mobility programs across its global businesses.

  • Reports to the Head of People and Culture Services, Systems, and Global Mobility
  • Ensures the overall success of ASC's global mobility program
  • Builds a cohesive global mobility infrastructure
  • Liaises with internal and external stakeholders
  • Collaborates with senior P&C leadership to deliver a global mobility program that supports ASC's business strategy
  • Ensures employee engagement and retention and meets operational deployment timelines

About the Person

  • Qualifications in HR Management or equivalent work-related experience
  • Excellence in development and implementation of global mobility strategies
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to inform and influence the business on global mobility
  • Experience in leading mid-sized teams of global mobility professionals
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and able to use sound judgment to drive complex issues to solution
  • Able to work in a global team across time zones
  • Must be able to travel (domestic and international)

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with senior ASC leadership on global mobility planning
  • Develops long-term cost projections based on assumptions for contract negotiations, new country entry, team resourcing, and compliance matters
  • Fosters proactive partnerships with stakeholders and leads customer engagements for ASC's global mobility program
  • Designs and implements a strategic roadmap for global mobility aligned with business needs
  • Provides functional leadership to global mobility teams worldwide
  • Stays informed on industry standards and provides thought leadership for global mobility at ASC
  • Communicates legislative changes affecting employee relocation or mobility costs
  • Ensures clear communication of key messages on Global Mobility to internal stakeholders
  • Reviews and authorizes high-impact exception requests related to mobility policy
  • Analyses global mobility data to maintain program effectiveness and identify enhancements
  • Reports insights on global mobility data and program effectiveness to senior leadership
  • Drives global standardization of mobility operations for a unified ASC experience
  • Exhibits leadership behaviors that promote productive relationships and a strong performance culture
  • Serves as the primary contact for crisis management involving global assignees
