About the PositionThe Clinical Nurse provides clinical leadership, education and research while supporting management activities. The role involves applying change management principles by providing support, guidance, mentoring, preceptorship, role modelling, and promoting collaborative teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:- Provides clinical leadership for professional and clinical practice
- Supports management activities, including portfolio responsibilities
- Applies change management principles to promote cooperation and collaborative teamwork
- Mandatory: relevant tertiary degree qualification and appropriate registration/licences
- Postgraduate qualification or current enrolment in a relevant postgraduate program highly desirable
- Class C Motor Vehicle Licence required
- Pre-employment screening, including Criminal History checks
Mornington Island Hospital is a remote Level 2 hospital providing 24-hour acute inpatient and accident and emergency care. The facility has 8 general medical beds and 4 Emergency department beds.
