Job Summary:
We are seeking a seasoned clinical nurse leader to oversee our team of dedicated nursing professionals.
About Us:
Our organization provides high-quality healthcare services in the Shire of Baw Baw. Our facilities include Cooinda Lodge Aged Care Residence, West Gippsland Hospital, and several community health centers.
Responsibilities:
The Lead Clinical Nurse Manager will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing policies and procedures for patient care
- Leading a team of nurses and developing their skills and knowledge
- Managing resources and fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications and current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse Division 1
- Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
- Broad generalist nursing experience in acute care and aged care settings
- Knowledge of Strengthened Aged Care Standards and ability to provide evidence-based and clinically effective care
Key Selection Criteria:
- Leadership and management experience in a healthcare setting
- Ability to develop and implement policies and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
