We are seeking a highly skilled Data Management Governance Lead to join our team at Commonwealth Bank. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in driving the success of our data management initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate data-related projects and liaise with key stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.
  • Facilitate the relationship between business and technical teams to support accurate and appropriate data management decisions.
  • Contribute to the development of functional designs that meet specific data management business needs.
  • Guide users on data availability, metadata, and data management best practices.
  • Streamline processes to enable efficient self-service data management.
Requirements
  • Experience in data management, with a strong understanding of data governance and compliance.
  • Advanced SQL skills and experience working with Alation.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain good networks.
  • Experience with AWS, especially AWS Glue and/or AWS Datazone, is highly desirable.
  • Experience working with Python is highly desirable.
