Uplift Supply Chain Programme Manager

Overview

The Uplift Supply Chain Programme Manager will play a key role in assisting South Australian businesses to develop the capabilities that will enable them to qualify for future defence industry supply chains.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain close relationships with key international defence primes, South Australian businesses, and relevant state and commonwealth government agencies.
  • Design and deliver programmes of work that result in local suppliers accessing future defence contracts.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Significant experience working in the defence sector or industrial supply chains with potential to become qualified suppliers to the defence sector.
  • Understanding of state and commonwealth defence policies including the Australian AUKUS Submarine Industry Strategy, Defence Strategic Review, Defence Industry Development Strategy, Sovereign Defence Industrial Priorities, and the South Australian Defence Industry Workforce and Skills Report and Action Plan.
  • Presentation skills, including preparing clear and concise presentations and delivering them confidently to various stakeholders, such as senior defence officials, government representatives, and the business community.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team, determine priorities, plan, implement, evaluate, and manage tasks, projects, and research, analyse, integrate, and report on data from various sources.
