Aeris Resources is a mid-tier base and precious metals producer operating two mines in Central Queensland. Our copper-dominant portfolio also includes an advanced development project and a highly prospective exploration area.

We are seeking applications from experienced Shot Firers and Charge Hands to work at our Cracow Gold Operations, located in Central Queensland. This role will see you working on a residential/DIDO/FIFO basis with an 8/6 or 7/7 lifestyle roster offered.

As a member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient use, storage, preparation, and setup of explosive charging equipment in line with regulatory requirements and underground works.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with mine safety regulations and guidelines
  • Operate as an underground Shot Firer and/or Charge Hand, managing explosive charging equipment
  • Work collaboratively with the shift supervisor and other team members to achieve production goals

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience operating as an underground Shot Firer and/or Charge Hand
  • Demonstrated underground mining experience
  • Current Qld Shotfirers Licence & Dangerous Goods Card or ability to meet requirements and gain
  • Awareness of the Mine Safety and Inspection Act & Regulations
