Laboratory Operations Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Laboratory Technician to ensure our services meet the highest industry standards.
The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving, labeling, logging and storing samples and reagents in compliance with laboratory standards, safety protocols and quality assurance requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage receipt, labeling, logging and storage of samples and reagents.
- Maintain chain of custody and verify delivery/shipment conditions, reporting discrepancies.
- Prepare shipments and document sample destruction.
- Support lab operations including sample preparation, solution/reagent preparation and equipment maintenance.
- Hold a diploma in Laboratory Sciences.
- Have at least 1 year experience in a laboratory environment preferably under sterile conditions.
- Prior experience with PBMC isolation, cryopreservation, thawing and counting using a hemocytometer is an asset.
- Demonstrate an organized work ethic with good record keeping skills and attention to detail.
