
Strategic Leader in Workplace Safety and Wellbeing

We are seeking a Director, Occupational Violence Prevention and Management to join our team.
This role involves contributing to workforce strategy, capability building, and providing workforce data to support strategic decision-making.
The Director will work closely with the People and Culture Division and the Work Health Safety Unit to implement WHS management frameworks and ensure a safe healthcare environment.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will have excellent leadership skills, a strong understanding of occupational health and safety, and the ability to develop and implement effective strategies to prevent and manage workplace violence.
The role requires a high level of autonomy, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve organisational goals.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement effective strategies to prevent and manage workplace violence.
- Provide leadership and guidance to staff on occupational health and safety matters.
- Work closely with the People and Culture Division and the Work Health Safety Unit to ensure alignment with organisational policies and procedures.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A degree in a relevant field (e.g. occupational health and safety, business administration).
- Proven experience in a leadership or management role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A high level of autonomy and self-motivation.
