We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Venue Operations Manager to lead the day-to-day operations and strategic development of two iconic community venues in Sydney’s North Shore.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the daily operations of two venues, ensuring high-quality service delivery and visitor experience.
  • Lead a team of 10-15 permanent and casual staff, promoting a culture of excellence and innovation.
  • Represent the public face of the venues, engaging with various stakeholders including councillors, community groups, and volunteers.
  • Drive business development, marketing, and programming for both commercial and community initiatives.
  • Support the launch of a new cultural and environmental centre, contributing to branding, curriculum, and operational plans.
Ideal Candidate:
  • Strong background in sports, recreation, or leisure facility management.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a leadership role, preferably in a community or precinct setting.
  • Proven ability to lead teams and deliver strategic programs.
  • Experience managing multipurpose venues or open space facilities.
  • Skilled in stakeholder engagement, event management, and business development.
  • Able to work flexibly between 8:00 am-6:00 pm to support program schedules.
