Our Youth Services Coordinator Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team as a Youth Services Coordinator. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity that includes flexible and family-friendly options.

About You

  • You will bring your patient and empathetic nature alongside experience in delivering person-centred, trauma-informed services that are culturally appropriate.
  • Tertiary level qualification in a relevant clinical discipline, including clinical psychology, psychology, mental health, mental health nursing, social/behavioural science, social work, youth work or equivalent.
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA) or current full membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).
  • Demonstrated experience working with and engaging young people with mental health, alcohol and other drug, sexual health or primary health or work and study concerns from diverse backgrounds.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and provide brief interventions for young people and their families.
  • Design and deliver wellbeing programs, activities and events that promote positive youth development.
  • Engage with the community and develop effective relationships with other service providers.
