Job Description

In this role, you will assist the Service Coordinator with the day-to-day running of the service and management of a team of Educators. You will receive support from a dedicated management team, consisting of the Coordinator, Senior Coordinator Area Coordinator, Regional Manager, and the OSHC Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop quality programs for children aged 0-12 years
  • Manage the day-to-day running of the programs, including planning and implementation
  • Support the Coordinator with staff management, including recruitment, training, and performance management
  • Ensure compliance with policies and procedures, including child safety and wellbeing
  • Undertake administrative tasks, including data entry and record-keeping
  • Work collaboratively with families and the school community to provide high-quality care and education
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Completed or currently studying relevant qualifications in Childcare or Teaching (minimum Diploma in Children Services)
  • Demonstrated experience in program development and implementation, and a passion for providing high-quality childcare
  • Demonstrated experience in maintaining effective administration and correct documentation in an OSHC service
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to work effectively with diverse groups
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • First Aid and CPR certification, or willingness to obtain
  • Certificate of Suitability to work with Children and Young People (Blue Card), or willingness to obtain
  • NQF knowledge advantageous
