The Role

You will be involved with the design and planning activities for large-scale multi-discipline maritime facilities for various industries, including defence, local government, state government, ports, and sustainability (hydrogen terminals).

Key Responsibilities

  • Apply your existing experience across different industries and lead the technical delivery of new and interesting projects.
  • Support and work with other disciplines across partners.
  • Leverage your existing maritime structural experience to deliver concept designs through to construction phase support.
  • Take on leadership roles (project management and design management) and business development opportunities (proposal preparation and client positioning).

Requirements

  • Significant experience in structural design, including reinforced concrete and steel in the marine environment.
  • Experience in designing, evaluating, and reporting on ports, harbours, coastal works, and marine structures.
  • Proficiency in using structural analysis software (SPACE GASS, Strand 7, IDEAStatica).
  • Chartered Professional Engineer or ability to get chartership within an agreed timeframe.
  • Tertiary degree qualifications in Civil or Structural Engineering.
