Maritime Structural Engineer Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to work on large-scale maritime projects, designing and planning facilities for various industries including defence, local government, state government, ports, and sustainability.

The role involves leveraging existing experience in structural design, reinforced concrete, and steel, as well as interest or experience in the design, evaluation, and reporting on ports, harbours, coastal works, and marine structures.

You will have opportunities to grow leadership and business development skills by assisting with project management and proposal tasks.

About You

We are looking for individuals with between 2 and 5 years of experience who possess the following skills:

  • Experience in structural design, reinforced concrete, and steel.
  • Interest or experience in the design, evaluation, and reporting on ports, harbours, coastal works, and marine structures.
  • Capability and experience in using structural analysis software such as SPACE GASS, Strand 7, and IDEAStatica.
  • Interest or experience working with local governments, port clients, and/or the Defence sector.
  • Familiarity with structural Australian design codes and guidelines.
  • Working towards Chartered Professional Engineer credentials.
