DXC Technology Inc.'s NSW team is seeking a Claims Assessment Specialist to partner with icare and improve recovery and return to work outcomes for injured workers.

This role presents an opportunity to bring over 20 years of experience in worker's compensation claims management to a new DXC team, contributing to the delivery of DXC's claims management expertise to icare and the people of New South Wales.

The Eligibility Case Officer will be responsible for evaluating claims, deciding whether to accept or reject them, and transitioning claims to appropriate Case Managers for ongoing management. Additionally, this role will involve calculating PIAWE, advising Dispute Resolutions Managers on the rationale for original decisions, and identifying the recovery potential of claims.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Evaluate claims and make informed decisions regarding acceptance or rejection
  2. Transition claims to appropriate Case Managers for ongoing management
  3. Calculate PIAWE and provide relevant information to stakeholders
  4. Advise Dispute Resolutions Managers on the rationale for original decisions
  5. Identify the recovery potential of claims and provide recommendations
