About the Position

This Territory Manager position is responsible for driving new business growth in Australia, specifically on the East Coast. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in sales, with experience in territory management and multi-channel sales environments.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with distributors and end-users, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, and achieving set sales targets.
  • A key part of this role is staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, as well as continuously improving sales processes and strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive new business growth and expand existing customer relationships.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors and end-users, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.

  • Achieve set sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the company.
  • Travel as required to project sites, exhibitions, and corporate and customer offices to meet with clients and build relationships.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in sales, with at least half of this time spent in territory sales management and multi-channel sales environments.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and analysis software.
  • Experience building and managing large distributors and third-party sellers, as well as implementing and managing metrics-based sales organizations.
  • Demonstrated comfort working in a fast-paced environment, making decisions quickly and effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as strong commercial and financial acumen.
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience's needs, and a strong network of contacts within the industry.
  • Highly motivated and target-driven, with a proven track record of success in sales.
  • Prioritizing, time management, and organizational skills, with the ability to work efficiently and effectively in a team environment.
