About This Role

We're seeking an experienced Clinical Occupational Therapist to join our team.

  • As a key member of our primary therapy teams, you'll play a vital role in supporting our clients achieve their assistive technology goals.
  • You'll work closely with colleagues on all aspects of the AT process, including assessment, analysis, trials, supplier liaison, funding applications, and setup and training.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Travel throughout Perth metropolitan area to support therapists as needed.
  • Assist with 24-hour postural care, including complex wheelchair seating and supported lying.
  • Provide assistance with assistive technology, including complex daily living aids.
  • Collaborate on home modifications and advanced technology projects.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy are essential.
  • You'll need significant experience in assessment, analysis, and prescription of Assistive Technology Equipment.
  • A strong report writing skillset and extensive experience in completing AT applications is necessary.
  • Experience mentoring and supporting staff with AT inquiries is also required.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills are a must.
