BDO is seeking a skilled Transportation Modeling Expert to join our team in Sydney CBD. As a key member of our Project and Infrastructure Advisory team, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-profile infrastructure projects across the country.

  • Job Type: Permanent - Full Time
  • Location: Sydney CBD, NSW
  • Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Transportation Modeling Expert who can work collaboratively with our cross-functional teams to deliver strategic transport modeling services. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing studies to assess current and future traffic patterns, travel behavior, and system performance
  • Utilizing advanced modeling software to simulate and analyze transportation and land use scenarios
  • Collaborating with engineering, planning, and environmental professionals to address transportation challenges and implement effective solutions
  • Analyzing and interpreting data to provide actionable insights for infrastructure improvements and policy recommendations
  • Preparing reports and presenting findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in mathematics, engineering, economics, or other quantitative degrees
  • Experience in the use of government models used in Queensland and NSW
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to work across multi-disciplinary teams
  • Previous experience in Strategic Transport Modeling for government and/or the private sector
  • Well-developed report writing, PowerPoint, and Excel skills
  • Effective engagement and stakeholder management skills in complex environments
