Job Overview
The Production Worker plays a critical role in the Port Macquarie manufacturing business, responsible for performing tasks associated with the installation and assembly of equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Equipment Installation and Assembly: Install and assemble equipment in accordance with manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
- Safety and Quality: Ensure all functions are performed in a manner that ensures safety to both personnel and equipment, and in accordance with occupational health and safety regulations.
- Worksite Management: Accept responsibility for the day-to-day activities required and undertaken at the work site, including coordinating with colleagues to ensure smooth workflow.
- Collaboration and Teamwork: Cooperate with co-workers to create a productive work environment, including assisting with each other's work when necessary.
- Testing and Commissioning: Assist in testing and commissioning of equipment to ensure it meets quality and safety standards.
- Assembly Line Duties: Perform assembly line duties, including assembling components and ensuring timely completion of tasks.
- Training and Development: Assist in the development of new employees, maintaining a tidy and safe work environment, and contributing to the growth and success of the team.
- Additional Responsibilities: Perform any other duties as assigned by your manager from time to time, in support of the company's goals and objectives.
