About Us:

A restaurant in a desirable location is looking for an experienced culinary leader to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement menus that showcase creativity and seasonal ingredients.
  • Manage kitchen operations to ensure efficiency, productivity, and quality.
  • Collaborate with staff to discuss food preparation techniques and menu items.
  • Demonstrate cooking techniques to staff and advise on procedures.
  • Prepare and cook food to order while maintaining exceptional food quality.
  • Enforce strict hygiene regulations to ensure health and safety standards.
  • Select and train staff to foster a positive and productive work environment.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2+ years of full-time recent experience as a Chef in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and kitchen hygiene practices.
  • Excellent culinary skills with a focus on quality and presentation.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
